Ye im here guys got the flywheel out just waiting on the ring to come and putting it all back together on Friday and hopefully can get all the **** back in the cab and then get to MOT and see what other hidden delights she has for me to do......a question my old girl seems to be listing to one side what will I have to do now...someone said it could just be the old leafes worn down...or what guys..never ends this stuff....but im asured that when its done it will be a reliable old van...but the guy did have a lot to drink at the time...LOL....xx

He he, there's always something to do when you've got a LR! Your lean to one side could be worn out springs, or it might be coz you've got Slob's mechanic in the passenger seat:p

Listen guys thanks for the help with the springs and stuff thats great....The flywheel is back in and the gearbox is back in and everything is back where it belongs BUT I had someone service the starter motor cause it was out(well I thought it was a good idea) and now the ****in thing wont even turn over these people you give them a job and pay them and bla bla bla Im a bit ****ed off guys sorry he has promised me it back tomorrow we will see...anyway about the starting ring on the flywheel...Give it to a professional to fit the guy took 5 mins and charged me a fiver. That was after I tried in vein to heat the thing and hitting it really hard with just about any thing i could pick up..lol..but hopefully it will start tomorrow and get to drive it clutch an all...phew that was abit long winded sorry guys speak soon XXXX

LOL cheers dude na I did it all right but it was solid man...Any way all done now at last....was driving it around the yard today and it was the ballox. Now just get the seats back in and take it for a MOT and then the the fun begins I suppose but I could be lucky....speak soon xxxx

if you got clutch problems buy new master and slave and the bit of pipe joining ,new fluid, bleed the system and forget about it its the only real cure oh if changing clutch aswell do a full borg n beck job plus new release fork
genuine parts are cheap so dont mess "buy new"
this n brakes if they fail can kill....... it just aint worth skimping you know it makes sense do it once an do it properly !!
