yeh cheers for the advice about wading kit m8..

but im unlucky and my car would stall or just randomly cut out so does any 1 have any pics or advice on wat i could do??? anything even tho i want the snorkle, wheels tyres and plugs etc first it is at the buttom at the minute but would still like any adive.. the pic on the defender looks fine but was would it look like on a disco ??

sorry for been a pain just trying to get as much info as poss

you dont need to raise the exhaust, only reason you would is so it doesnt get damaged when on steep slopes or over rocks, if the engine is running no water is going to go in the exhaust at all

Any exhaust that run outside the body work ie.side pipes stacks must be covered by a heat sheild. If you have a high exit exhaust and you stall the engine while it is under water the whole system will fill up to the hight of the tail pipe

The only thing Ive seen 2 snorkles on was a 90 up on the GAP , when asked about them he said it was for his heater intake ---- makes sence really

but id close the flap before hand --- its cheaper
