Shy newbie hello!

Hi! :) I've got 4 horses, well 2 horses ( a Lusitano and a purebred Spanish) and 2 ponies (Welsh C and Dartmoor Hill Pony). I only hack and have the occasional lesson at the moment but would like to do a few stressage and little jumpy comps at some point. All are grass kept and the field is 5miles from our house, the other side of a river and up a hill ... it was interesting trying to get to them last year in all the snow although my OH's Frontera did struggle through. What do you do with your's?

I really do love Laura, it's sad really.

Oh I would LOVE to see pics of all your horses! Love all Welshies (such characters!) and Dartmoor's rock! A PRE Andy? Are both the Andy and the Luso grey?

Mine are all Sporthorses. My mare is most likely going to carry on being a broodmare, as it seems that the mistreatment she suffered before I found her and bought her, are too much for her to forget and be a happy ridden horses :( Such a shame, as she is an absolute delight and means the world to me. Her 4yo is in Yorkshire with one of my best friends, fingers tightly crossed he's as good as he promises! I also have her 2yo filly, a very pretty coloured. I don't really do that much with them, as my mare can't cope with being ridden, though have shown the kids a bit at County level and not done badly :D

Your horses sound lovely. :) Sorry for the change of topic btw boys, normal Landy talk will resume soon. :p
This is my PRE mare, she is British bred.

Oh LOVELY!!! You can't beat the regal step and carriage of an Iberian!! A friend in Cornwall bred twice from her pure Luso (to different Luso stallions), unfortunately lost the mare at the foaling of the second. They are an exceptional breed! If I could find a 17hh one that I could afford, I'd be sorely tempted - I know they are breeding them taller and taller now... Love the ponies, bet they give you some entertainment!

Here are mine
My mare (3/4WB, 1/4TB)

her 1st foal, as a 3yo, he's 4 now (5/8th TB, 3/8th WB), he;s losing his winter coat, hence the oddness of colour lol

her 2nd foal, as a 2yo, earlier this spring (7/8WB 1/8TB)

They are gorgeous! I think both the youngsters are going to do very well. :) You're right, they are breeding bigger horses in both breeds and in this financial climate there are some Iberian bargains to be had, although there are still some seriously overpriced ones about ... just as with landys. I think the next photo I put up had better be of me, suited and heeled, climbing into Laura. Funny how horsey people find each other so quickly though. :D

Sorry guys, I haven't worn a suit yet this week and didn't think anyone would want to see a pic of thick tights and Ugg boots! I posted this one on the "pin up" thread earlier, so I'll put it here too ... I'm showing knees, even if I'm not wearing a skirt! :D

Thank you!! They are both better than I had ever dreamed of and are adorable people too! LOL, the boys will def appreciate non horsey pics :D There are a few of us horsey peeps on here :D

Im a horsey person too- like to have one mounted , spread eagled on the front of the my 110 at approx 60 mph -every time the bloody things go onto a public road, causing congestion and dropping **** everywhere - whilst also not contributing to road tax --

I've had an horse. Well part of one anyway served with pasta in a stew it was lovely. Had Mule the following night that was casseroled and was also very nice.. :D :D

my 110 doesnt go slower than 60- spends its time doing emergency stops in between the multiple trips & stops that consist of my life and the chaoticmadness that surrounds me and by proxy my beast- havent time for 4 legged neighing things to plod along slower than a snail when theres a perfectly good grass verge to ride on- then to make matters worse- some bloody woman waves thanks at me on top of the bloody thing- like I have a choise but to slow down - bloody plodding thing blocks the whole road -
