A few pics from last Thursday around Herefordshire and Powys including chainsaw alley that needs a good driver to negotiate it without damaging your car. All cars through unscathed.

Yes Bren, water a bit higher than recently. No sign of the womble. Have only met him once and I ignored him n smiled like an axe murderer (seemed to work). Dannys car got down the alley with a bit of shuffling. Think he n James enjoyed it. His dad took lots of pics. Hoping he will load some on here.

Hi all just a word from Church Stretton,
As you may or not know the fields next to the cwms lane are ear marked for development
in the plans on the Shropshire council web site they are to close the approach to cwms lane from the south with lockable bollards (to allow the emergency services access)and pedestrians ,
the house on the end of the lane will have a new access from the A49 I wonder if the lane will also be open from this end given that the access will be through the new housing development?

Can't get a link up but search Shropshire council planning

In the drawing of the site the lane is noted as unkempt and run down and will be refurbished for walkers only.
You will have to blow up the drawing however as the type is to small to read ...HUUUMMMM!
If I read it right they intend to culvert the stream and in fill with stone to make a nice path .
