Disco 2 Should I remove the centre silencer? (TD5)

My D2a td5 (2003) already came without a CAT and no-egr from factory and lately I've been toying with the idea of removing the centre silencer...

The one thing that worries me if the noise level gets too high inside the car...
Is it worth? What are the benefits?

Yes
Don't worry about the noise. Some report things getting a bit 'boomier' inside, personally I didn't notice.
The most noticeable change is outside, where you'll hear a heavy-duty 'chirrup' coming through the tailpipe - bloody gorgeous!!!

It will absolutely be noisier inside. Some folks like the noise though. From a performance perspective any increase will likely be placebo.

It does create a 'boom' sound inside but once your used to it, its hardly noticeable.
