Should I buy a Defender 110 Utility . . .

Hi. I'm new to the forum and am struggling to make up my mind. We have had Defenders in the past and are currently thinking of selling our Navara to replace it with a new 110 Utility. We have two kids and two dogs and need a vehicle that we can buy on the business.

Has anyone got any good or bad things to say about them?

Any info would be gratefully received

I have one of the early utility station wagons (1999) and a well happy with it. Probably the most versatlie and user friendly landy I've had.

It's the swiss army knife of the car world.

At work we initially had a small fleet of Navara pick ups but they didn't last long. Soon returned to the green oval!

We've got a 110 utility Puma for work.

As Ratty says it's the Swiss-army knife of vehicles. Happy trogging into and out of forests, good towing a heavy trailer and a fairly comfy motorway cruiser.

The only thing I would criticise is the crap turning circle, not helpful when trying to reverse a long trailer.

Thanks everyone! I did test drive the L200 but I wasn't keen on that, or the new Ford pick-up. I do have the Landy bug tho, so am probably slightly biased

It's going to be mostly used for just pottering about locally (I don't get out much ) and the odd holiday towing a caravan. Hubby was wondering about putting a tow ball on the front of the Defender to make manouvering the caravan easier, as he had said the same thing as Sprogthedog about the turning circle making it tricky to reverse when towing.
