I dont know, but I am quite surprised to find out from post 8 that Pos has a defender but doesn't have an angle grinder.

I though that was part of the compulsory landy tool kit. :)

My grandad up the street has a drill adapter, I just buy the disks ;)

Yeah those abrasive disks are excellent at removing paint and rust, but they do put millions of tiny scratches in the metal work. Ive used them loads on the truck im restoring, as i found them to be so much quicker at removing paint than a wire brush. Im told that it will take a few coats of high build primer to cover the scratches when it comes to painting though.

The truck is all steal, so it might be a good idea just to try the wire brush first on landy aluminium panels. Or at least try it in an unseen place first.

I've also been advised not to sand blast even steel panel work, as the heat distorts the panels. Although have to admit I've not actually tried, so no idea how much truth is in that advice, I didn't want to take the chance.

I bought a sandblasting kit for my Karcher pressure washer to clean the chassis, it works really well using silica sand, do it on the grass though as it makes a right mess on the drive which upsets women a lot
