Hi All

Just been to my first 'Pay and Play' session in the Disco, and somehow managed to destroy both rear shock absorbers.
Now, before you judge Me, I'd like to point out that I bought the Disco with a 2" lift already in place, and assumed (in good faith) that the shocks had been replaced accordingly. It seems this was not the case :(
So now I find myself in the market for some suitable rear shocks, compatible with a 2" lift....
Any recommendations??

Cheers

Adam

If you want articulation go for terrifirma big boys +5inch pin to pin with new rear pin mounts. Or pro comp do +4 from paddocks about 30 quid each.

Thanks Guys

It looks as if the existing mounts are dropped by 2". If I were to install +2" shocks, would that theoretically give me +4" shocks, and although I can see the benefit in articulation is there something else I should consider, such as the shocks hitting the end-stop under compression?

Britpart +2" worked fine for me.
If your rear ARB has been removed to allow the lift, then depending upon the garage, your Disco may fail its next MOT.
Should you wish to re-fit the ARB, use tow bar spacers and longer bolts.
