Hey guys happy new year and all that......new landy is fine and running well with the new diff what a DIFFrence he he...anyway when i start it up I get loads of white smoke and it continues like that for about a mile...but the smoke smells like diesel not oil and its white and fluffy if that sounds right....is it injectors or pump or worse...it pulls well and drives great and doesnt seem to loose oil maybe a pint for 200+ miles if that...any ideas please..????

are you sure its not normal water vapour coming out? once the exhaust heats up it will disappear.

Sh*t the bed chap, with the trials & tribulations your trucks have put you through of late (baptism of fire is the first phrase to spring to mind!), you're worried about that?

Thought they all did that? Thought that until yer engine's up to running temp' you're going to get a bit of unburnt diesel shermoke.

Sounds OK to me from what you describe. Just make sure you turn up on time (if not a little late) for any MOT & make sure your engine's nice & hot when you get there!

ok guys that sounds like all good stuff and your probably right but can this shmokin be like a Jamesh bond smoke screeen its only when its idling...I Love it guys and I have been getting waves from other nutters and even dare I say Defender drivers....I even got sounds....I like thats van in your pictures what dadt....xxxx

if its a cold enough day you could have yer james bong smoke screen
