so do you think it better to replace the prop or the uj,s . in the bit of history i got the last owner was a hire firm so i guess it was used to tow minni digers an the like . so maybe no offroading just alot of towing. stress on the joints .sorry if this reply dont make sence the alcaholl is kicking in

If the prop is knackered and needs replacing then the new one will come with new UJs too. I bought the whole lot coz i was short of time and just wanted to whipp one off and stick another on, and then know the who lot was OK for a while, and once the thing was off i could see properly that it was knackered anyway so was glad i did.

Your prop seemed pretty tight though, but like you say it could be bent or something - the whole lot is £55+VAT delivered and then you'll know it's all OK for a while, but at about £8 a pop the UJ's are loads cheaper (but you'll have to pay delivery on em too) but you need to factor in time to replace em, and the worry that if the prop is damaged as well it will be money down the drain.

Am also reachin booze induced drivel time so sorry if technical advice turns out dubious! Saw he had your old one on Ebay already! (that white one does look a shed!)
