I can see the advantage of poly bushes in the panhard of you are doing a lot of heavy work and wearing out rubbers as they are easy to continuously replace and the vehicle isn't likely to be 100% focusses for road use. For the latter I would rather stick with rubber and just replace the whole panhard every decade or two.

Mine does go off-road a reasonable amount.

Yeah, I've been totting it up. Original panhard rubbers are £15 each. That's £60! The Britpart poly kit is £50 aor all suspension parts. Even if I have to replace them 3 times as often it works out cheaper.

I'm more worried abut ride-quality and vibration. I'm a bit OCD. When things aren't quite right it REALLY niggles me.

I'm the same. Mine are purely for road use and the 4 door has developed a small wobble around 55mph and also shimmies a bit more than it should.

There is a bit of play on the offside panhard bush so I've just bought a replacement rod as its only about £40 and easy enough to just swap out. At the same time, once I've done that I'm going to get the steering aligning redone and the wheels balanced.

Road handling is also really effected by tyre pressures so before the alignment I'm going to squirt quarter of a can of weld into each tyre as this works wonders for halting any tiny seepage that leaves you with uneven pressures.

Look like I'm OK for now. Turned out to be the rear tyres. Got another complete set f wheels / tyres off BenThomas and the issue disappeared. Means I have rather a lot of wheels and tyres to shift somehow!
