So ya reckon 10-40 mineral? Thanks for the link!
it's all a matter of opinion really, hence why there's so much confusion on oil types. If you want to use semi synth then use it but I don't think it'll make any difference and cost a lot more. It's up to you really :)

When taking off oil filter...wrap in a plastic bag....then any spilled oil will go in that and not down your arm/all over front axle...

Fill fuel filter with injector cleaner and this will attend to the injectors at the same time...if not no need to fill filter...the 300tdi will start and maybe momentarily stop...it'll start straight after...

Torque your sump plug to avoid threading it...change the copper washer every few changes...

Don't loosen off sedimentor plastic bung(if fitted..as it will snap off)dismantle the whole assembly...easy to do...

Yes for loosening off any fill plugs before draining... 55 torx head for R380 gearbox bung

MTF94 in R380,EP90 in the axles along with transfer box and CV grease in the swivel pins

Look for the oil spec on the oil container (ie ACEA,API etc )and buy that...ignore the maker of the oil.....

:)
