Sorry, out taking the dogs for a walk.

LPG produces alot more water vapour so on shorter runs especially, the moisture gets caught up in the centre box & causes it to rot pretty fast. Anything downstream of the centre box will be soon to follow. If your keeping the P38 for the long term i'd definately advise a stainless system. :)

Picked the Rangey up today following its service at Wicken 4x4 near Ely. It seems they know their stuff and the car is running a lot sweeter, which is gratifying. They did have the thing for four days though, and managed to leave oily grubby marks on my lightstone seat, steering wheel and door grabs - disappointing.

Also, is it just me or if someone spends over £800 with you would you at least wash their car before giving it back?!

Harwoods used to do a complete valet job on my XJS when I had it:D

Every place I've had my "prestige" cars serviced has usually appreciated that someone who buys such a vehicle appreciates a bit of extra mile service, so I assumed washing cars before giving them back was a given these days. Oh well, now I know differently!

To be honest, the car washing thing bothered me a lot less than the oily marks. I spent a good 45 minutes with a hot damp cloth trying to get shot of them, and even had to use some more of my liquid leather on the steering wheel. It's really not that hard to use a seat cover is it?

Being fair to Wicken 4x4, I'd rather they did a good job mechanically (which I think they did) rather than customer service nicities, but hey, there's always room for improvement. :)
