The tree sliders help to protect the paintwork and the doors from damage. Disco doors curve outwards slightly If you don't have tree sliders and try to squeeze through a tight spot you knacker your doors. I'd go for combined rock & tree sliders. They're also very useful if your wheels are spinning on one side, or if your leaning over a bit too far. As you can get a couple of fat bastids to stand on the tree sliders and add a bit of weight to one side.
Ok I'm convinced it's the full monty it's getting, bits for the steering should be here tomorrow from craddocks, it seems there is no protection for the rear steering arm and damper, so I will have to be more aware of hidden bits.
The tow bar is a bit of a plough and I am thinking of making a guard for the fuel tank and taking it off. Next project, unless somebody has a good reason for keeping it on.
