hi guys its me again.
the fleabay bug struck again last tuesday and i'm now the proud owner of an unregistered series one trialer. c / w rangie axles and a lot of bent panels
what do y'all think, aint tinternet great.
its come with a great lump of a V8, now i know its practically illegal for a land rover to run on "bang water" but i've been thinking of putting the lump back in her anyway.
i'll put some pictures of the lump on tommorow if its not as black as a labradors arse when i get back from work.
what i'm looking for guys is help with the following information.
what does a landy have to have done to her to qualify as an ARC approved trialer?
does anyone know where i can get series one panels cheap?also it'll want a new tub for the rear.
can anyone i.d. what type of lump it is (when i've added the pics of course)?
where can i download a manual that'll tell me how to fully rebuild the engine?
do landys really run on petrol ?????????????
looks like the battery box n fuel tanks are in the tub also its plumbed in to take a rad in there. anyone know how this will mount, also what type of rad is best for the V8.
finally how do i go about fully waterproofing the thing. last thing i want, is the smarmy faced git down the road, asking me if my little yellow landy wants a pull out of the puddle its just died in, especially as he drives a ****ty rust coloured suzuki that he's spent about 10 grand and about a thousand man hours trying to make it into one of solihulls finest (wan*er) ( big time)
