I am rebuilding a 1973 Series III NAS and want to convert to disc brakes. The only kit out there I see cannot be shipped to the states. Can any parts of a Defender brake system be adapted to a Series?
 
there are a few suppliers of the disc brake conversion kits. ill be very surprised if ALL of them refuse to ship to the states.

cheapest option is to use the whole axle from a disco or deepender or RR.
they need to be modified to fit a leafer of course.
