Just spent a hard afternoon trying to get the seat rails out to allow me to fit a soundproofing kit. They w were proper gits to get out and each too about an hour to free off each adjuster.

Question is why did they bother. I'm a shortages and I have them pushed right back. Does anyone have them at any other setting? Or were they some sort of legal requirement?

how much movement do they give? i keep my eye out cause i wouldn't mind having them even though i would have it set right back. I know a lot of short people though

I take it back, I tried with it two clicks further forward (about 2") yesterday afternoon....I could just fit my beer gut in between the seat and the wheel and it might be a bit more comfy than the sit up and beg position on long journeys where I tend to get arse-ache...had to put it back to get in and out though
