Hi, does anybody know where to buy a new series 1 chasiss from?
I have heard about series one club having them made, but never seen any for sale!
Cheers si!

S1 club WAS the only source unless things have changed recently ....

Fly in the ointment is that the chap that produced the engineering dimensions for the s1 club had a falling out involving much dummy spitting AND taking of the ball home with in ...thus they are currently made out of solid "Unobtanium"

No one else AFAIK feels like sticking their finger in the ****ty hole of legals involved in this for the small number of units to be sold (Bearing in mind JLR are currently involved in remanufacturing S1's for their heritage range AND they are getting all legal on a whole heap of trademarked stuff on sale)

There was a chap selling laser cut flat packs for certain models BUT he seems to be playing schtum too at the moment .
Not looking good

I saw the flatpacks too, pretty expensive c.f. the s1 club ones when you factored in paying someone to weld it all up. iirc the flatpack was c£1500 and the s1 club c£1800 bit of a saving if your welding was up to snuff though.

I should imagine welding a flat pack to be spot on is considerably more difficult than patching a holey chassis.

is yours not patchable @sidog11

I think you are somewhat out on the cost of a club chassis ( if they were available) . A price of £2,500-3,000 would be nearer the mark . You can barely get a new bulkhead for £1,800 .

tbh I can't remember exactly when I got the quote for mine from Derek heynes but it was £1,800, maybe the price went up a lot near the end
