No. You posted this just before a landy owning mate of my brother-in-law's called to explain my stupidity!

I'll get the adjusters nipped up before trying again. Chalk this one up to inexperience and/or stupidity!

What is it that is wrong with doing them without the adjusters, does it allow the pistons in the cylinder to move too far or something?

theres a gert big gap bwtween the shoes and the drums which the first pump reduces then second pump theyre in place ready to use !

The adjuster on the rear offside drum isn't adjusting - worn to shreds when I had a look.

I've got a new one to replace it with (already done the fronts) but the hole on the back plate is at an angle. This surely sn't right is it?
