"A man who, beyond the age of 26, finds himself on a bus can count himself as a failure"
Margaret Thatcher
always made me laugh as I always caught the bus to work until a month ago when i bought the landy .... I'm not a failure anymore!!!
Understood - but valve grinding is very time consuming and easy to do yourself once your man has released the valves, all you need do is take head and valves home [on the bus!] Always worth doing when the head is off.waldamar depends how much it all comes to , it needs MOT doing also , Im hoping thats just a wheel cylinder and a indicator bulb , I can do that myself , to be honest I need it back on road asap , ive been without for 6 weeks and ive got 3 kids , If I was really lazy (and had money) id get him to do all MOT work also and MOT it but I dont want him charging me £35 labour for wheel cylinder and bulb so ill try to make savings that end and will prob let him sort valve out , also I want it back up and running. looking at costing on internet , looks as if all parts can be purchased for approx £150
in total so im hoping I can get in all done for £500.
