Spent a day off in the garage ! Heaven
Doors fitted, fettled, and finished ! Wow never again ! What a fiddley job, thank god for an old black washing up bowl (cut it up to make some plastic shims for the door hindges) finally got the buggers lighend up.

Next was the Exmoor full hoop kit ! another fiddley bloody job. Started fitting the door seals just to find out that somehow I was sent two left hand ones ??? Even thought the pack stated RH ?

New fuel sender fitted and tested, now I can fit the seat box and seats.

Made a stainless steel front number plate holder, cut a plastic milk bottle to make packers to go between the stainless and galv bumper (they dont mix well)

Exmoor delux seats fitted, took some time to work out how to fit them with the frames and steel flat bar stop. (Thanks google!)

Not quite there, just waiting for the front wings to come back from the painters, bolt them on, bolt the bonnet and need to order some headlight bowls and lamps fingers crossed may be ready next week

Having freshly galvanized the original chassis do I paint it black or leave it as it is ?

Yes - Etch, prime and paint black

No - Leave it galvanized
