As the title says.
I have removed the nut and washer.
part no 595123
Using a 3 leg puller applied a lot of pressure with gentle heat but still it will not move.
Tapped it all round under pressure. nothing absolutely solid.
Apart from getting the angle grinder on it. has anyone any suggestions for me please?
Anything I may have missed, hidden bolt etc.

Cheers Peter

Thanks for the info guys. I will look into that.
Although i am looking at the cost of a new part against the price of a tool to remove it.
cheers Peter

Hi folks,
I am going to have a chat with a guy in the pub tonight who works in a garage to see if he has anything there
My son who works in a garage forgot to check.
In the meantime I bolted some plates to the legs of my Laser puller to stop it slippng off.. Full pressure again, lump hammer thumping with a drift and cold chisef from underneath.
Nothing, all it did was bend one of the legs of the puller. .
All good fun
cheers Peter

If I remember correctly, the splines are tapered. Once you get it freed it should come off easily.

Notice how the purpose made puller is much thicker steel than an adjustable gear puller. This shouldn't have as much flex in it.

Looking at The Landrover workshop manual says use tool 60000 to remove the arm. I suppose they must be right.

Thanks for the help/advice guys. I will leave it for the time being. I have plenty of other parts to work on.
Cheers Peter

Removed mine this morning. Used the recommended tool and left it under quite high tension all last night.
This morning it came off with a little help from an 18 inch bar on the socket.k

A bearing splitter mounted upside down under the arm, a couple of threaded rods and a harmonic balancer puller shifted mine. It was damn tight...
