just one more thing ive noticed wheres the fekkin id tag gone off the bulkhead (chassis number)

But yeah....everything visible is series 3.

Apart from the later 5 bearing crank I'm not aware of any differences between 2 and 3 engines......this has been mentioned a few times tonight on different threads...

Am I missing something?
 
i wouldnt its tedious ,but fair to say its either well after 72 and so no plate change ,or had a lot of alterations as some did ,without really seeing it who can say
 
The only thing tax exempt about that is the number plate. It's definitely a later series 3. Ding a ling a ling.
 
the id plate is not always on the bulkhead, some times its on the front panel just above the horn, so would not be visible in the pic??
