that happens people are allways asking me for log books, but still have done a lot of genuine builds using all kinds of parts easy with a vehicle were doors fit from series 2 to defendermuch easier to just swap plates thou just need a screwdriver

But yeah....everything visible is series 3.
Apart from the later 5 bearing crank I'm not aware of any differences between 2 and 3 engines......this has been mentioned a few times tonight on different threads...

i wouldnt its tedious ,but fair to say its either well after 72 and so no plate change ,or had a lot of alterations as some did ,without really seeing it who can say
