Series 3 109" diesel

Hi all.

I have (in the past year) bought a 1978 LWB.





I drove it from Carlisle to High Wycombe earlier on this year and it performed wonderfully!
Sat at around 45, sometimes 50, took just 6 hours to complete the trip. Didn't use as much fuel as I was expecting it to, either.
But it has its' problems, and no longer has an MOT.
The things I know that will stop it passing an MOT are the wipers and horn aren't working.
Does anyone know of a Land Rover friendly mechanic/MOT centre than is also friendly on the wallet!?

Thanks very much. Just bought a new car, so it may well be for sale once i've sorted its 'foibles'.
But then I look at it and think I'd rather keep it....!

There's certainly something about them, easy to work on as well
