could someone kindly tell me what brake pads are needed for the front and back of my landy series 3, 109 (1972)

i got the manual but it dont seem to specify what is needed.

i recently stripped down the starting motor and changed the brushes. refitted it and cleaned up the engine bay of rust etc. engine started straight away

im rambling now, back to topic. what brake pads and where can i buy them, can i get them from halfords or somewhere like that, rather than waiting for them to arrive in the post etc.

thanks in advance if anyone can help

Is it a 4 or 6 cylinder...

currently down loading the zip file, i was trying to find glow plugs as well and the wires that go with them, but theres so much to trawle through, especially for a novice such as me lol

i want to turn it into a millitary land rover but i cant seem to find millitary landy's with hard tops, i want to keep the hard top.

I'm guessing its diesel then!

You'll get used to poking around in the parts manual after a while... military stuff might be a bit more difficult though as that is in a different catalogue.

See how you get on with the catalogue it should be easy enough (look for stuff in the index at the front or I just use the picture index in the first pdf file). Then spend the next few minutes guessing which of the pdfs to open...

yes it's diesel, sorry i left that bit out. would of helped wouldn't it lol

i just clicked the famous four web link and found more or less everything i need there lol

the pdf link is saved on my com and is very usefull so owe you a big thanks for that.

i will try my best to upload pics of my progress so others can see whats happening, i have uploaded a pic when i fist bought it but need to get more as it sounds awesome now that i got it running after it was sitting for 17yrs lol
