series 2a temp transmitter

I have a 66 series 2a that has no temp gauge fitted and a plug in the head near the thermostat housing.
I have a gauge from a series 3 that fits in the blank space on the instrument cluster but the sender from a series 3 is a slighter smaller thread than the plug hole in the head. Can anybody tell me the part number of the correct sender or adaptor please.

According to the manual, you need these parts (and a bit of plumbers' PTFE tape or thread sealant):

The probe earths through the threads your better off with a paste sealant which should allow metal to metal contact.
