Could someone please tell me if a series 3 rear axle is the same as a 2a.

Unless it is a 109". Series III 109's had a Salisbury axle. Series IIA's were fitted with the older ENV axle.

Thanks. Its an 88 inch and I have a series 3 rear axle available to me. ( also 88). Series 3 looked the same in a photo but needed to check.
