Hi just bought my first landie a series 2a on camac terra 4 x 4, the main issue so far is that it weaves massively are there any comon known causes to this or is it just my general ignorance of how it should drive. Any advice much appreciated a couple of mates have also driven it and the collective opinion is that it is borderline dangerous!

Well, it could be the tyres, or the wheel bearings, or the swivel bearings/ bushes, or the track rod ends (choice of 6) or the steering relay or the steering box. But it's probably all of them....

Get someone that knows their Series to take it for a drive, they will probably soon figure it. First I would jack up the front and see if you can figure out where the play is - for a start see if the steering wheel moves a fair way before anything past the steering box does - in which case you could try to adjust that (a nut and a locking nut to adjust)
