series 2 new toy

hi all, im new to the forum, and the landrover scene for that matter. just thought i would share a few pics of my new toy, a 1964 series 2 petrol.

picked it up today, mot till end of october, £450! not a bad deal i thought. it needs tidying but drives/runs ok. even came with a hardtop as well

im planning on giving it a good service- oils, filters, ignition etc. check over brakes and run it as it is till the mot expires. my main hobby is restoring vintage tractors and i currently have one half done so when thats out i plan to restore the landy.

wheres best place to get new canvas?

I love the way we all look at an old land rover from the 60s and think what a stunner. Most "normal" people would be saying what a heap of crap and laughing at us
But it's there loss
