Series 2/3 front doors

Afternoon all,I'm currently renovating a '69 series 2a. I have purchased two new cab doors,whilst attempting to fit them i have noticed that the check strap/door stays have no location points on the new doors(basically a slot where the nylon bush runs).
Can anyone please tell me if you have to modify the door or replace the door stays? Many thanks

yrm or bits for landy sell a conversion kit doors you have are series 3.
Have you posted this on series 2 forum as well because it was just discussed a couple of days ago.
