I bought a series 1 80" recently and have checked, axles, engine and gearbox numbers and all are correct for the year. Its still got its original radiator as well as dynamo, stamped -52 and -53. The odo shows 22000km and I believe that is correct with support from MOT papers, the fact thats its an old firetender and the overall condition. So I am 99% sure that the engine etc are the correct ones fitted at the factory. I have read about the heritage certificate but heard that you never know how much info you will get from it. Is there any way of contacting Land Rover, they got to have the info in their archives? I live in Sweden btw.

The bumper is away for regalvanizing, it was painted when I got the car.

yes. Its a 2 litre. I have the aircleaner, its just removed because I need to repair the copper vacuumpipe from dissi to carb. When I got the car the hood was black, I stripped it from paint so it was all clean and because I didnt know better I told the painter so paint the underside as well :(.
