My autobox saga contiunues, got to the point now where all bell housing bolts and the adapter plate bolt are out, starter motor out, torque converter bolts (3) removed(torque pushed back into box 1mm or so).But cannot get the bell housings to seperate,if I lever on nearside ,I can get a gap to insert a flat blade screwdriver, but nothing on drivers side.If I remove screwdriver box snaps shut, really tightly held.
Could my pump failure have a bearing on this?Anyone got any suggestions?
Cannot see anyway forward other than driving wedges in all way round ,slowly getting bigger, but do not want to smash ally housings or damage them.Seems more than just stuck on pins, but some of the bolts had that white ally crap on them so could be corrosion holding it.
Anyone any ideas?

Sounds like you a bolt still in there, have you removed starter motor?

yup starter is out,and just counted bolts again,6 round bottom ,2 at top plus closing plate to transmission-all are out (no more offered in rave either)

just ensure crank sensor and oil pressure sender light plugs are removed first

Yup will do James,-thanks.
Planning on using a wall scraper(thin metal) between closing plate and transmission, see if I can tap it round the bell housing-done this on stuck outboards before, using two scrapers then drive wedges in between scrapers(spread the load on the ally faces).
