recently due to the floods i got my old 2002 tdy commercial out and had to go through some floods it became apparent these were very deep i managed to get through however she cut out . i left if 10 mins it fired straight up . i drove several miles ok shiut down again the same over and over again . ive left it 3=48 hours and it starts first time however you rev it to 2500-3000 rpm and it stops if you leave the ignition on it will never start . you then click key to off leave it 2 mins it fires up again engine still sounds fine runs fine just cannot accelarate fully due to this shutting down . any help please would be superb many thanks
 
First of all check the air filter ...if it was not softened by water and sucked into the intake next suspect would be the crank sensor, eventually ECU plugs
 
Well cleaned the ecu to death he’s checked turbo pipes etc etc but he says it needs auto logic to read the live data he’s 100% sure it electrical . A pain the backside to be fair 20 years no problems
