I went out in my transit to look at a job the other day and my starter motor decided that as i was facing the wrong way in a cul de sac that was downhill and was parked tight up against the car in front it would stop working lol, luckily enough i was only a mile from home, so called a local mate to come pick me up, so went and got the disco went back and and towed it up the hill in low range, pulled it up there no problem at all, bump started the van and drove it home lol, another reason i love having a land rover !

It is nice being able to help yourself rather than wait for Mr AA.
I recovered a couple in a brand new disco yesterday. They ran it real low on fuel and went and filled up, but on the long drag uphill into farnham it must have sucked the tank dry before they filled it so it cut out. I towed them up with the range onto the flat. The hills pretty dangerous. We cycled the ignition on and off a few times and it started.

There's a few knobs around here with newish Disco's that always make a point of 'not seeing me' in my old D2, the sort that expect you to crawl into the hedge when passing so they don't get muddy wheels (mostly toffee nosed women I'm afraid to say). Judgement day will come ladies......... :D
