Security locks?

i am looking to buy a security lock for my 90, any suggestions as to best type?
Gear stick, pedal, steering wheel, battery cut off etc I don't know which one to go for!

Something very visible like a disklock then also get a pedal lock of some sort. Physical barriers are best imo

Disklok then weld some bars onto the back of it to stop it being 'peeled' off

Gearstick ones are pretty useless since on half the Fenders you can pull the gearknob off!

X-Eng to a great pedal lock box, which bolts down in place so you havnt got a massive chunk of steel flying around the cab

There's Rattys sticky research poll in the stolen Landy section, the voting is just for those that have had a theft or attempted theft but there's a lot of useful chat on the thread.

The upshot of the poll is it very much looks like the most effective single additional piece of security is a full steering wheel disk look.

There's also a new transmission brake lock out but not sure how effective or how easy to use they are.

I use a disklok and and a pedal lock. A pain in the arse if I'm honest but it's been left alone since.
I've had the wheel clamp welded up with the bars and the back and extra protection for the hinge. The pedal lock will be getting the same treatment soon too.

I use an Oxford Motorcycle chain/padlock designed to secure biker to nearest lamp post or whatever
It wraps round the steering wheel and back around the roll bar. Granted the thief is able to remove steering wheel but would need to carry a spare wheel with him.

It's also a question of where you park overnight. Despite the effectiveness of many of these devices (I use a Disklok myself) if 'pro' scumbags can get sufficient access to your vehicle it only needs a beavertail with a winch. As I've posted before, if you park on your own property some form of solid obstruction (or even securing the vehicle TO something immovable) stands a better chance of defeating the b......s

It's crazy really, I often leave the key in most of my vehicles out side the house. Right now the disco and my sierra are parked out on the road with the keys in them. Many people will leave their cars running out side a shop or what ever. My point is, you're probably better off moving
