Hi all, am looking for a second battery, but the tray has to fit in a specific place in the td5 engine bay, does anyone know of any other vehicles with a smallish batterytray that will fit right in? I am crap at fettling things and the "proper" ones cost a fortune.

Not in the second battery position, I'm talking about the spot thats just in front of the passenger (in the engine bay, i don't thinkthe wife would like one in the glovebox) was hoping someone would say something like "2003 ford fiesta battery tray fits perfectly"

Well a normal tray from a breakers cost about a tenner, so now I'm looking to find out what cars take a bci 34 battery so I can look for the trays.

My understanding from your first post was that you want a battery tray which is not as expensive as ''proper'' ones hence my recommendation which is below half the price of a D2 one

i didnt think you are after some rusted crap

Lol, not all breakers yard stuff is rusty, some of them are complete battery boxes which would help too. Going to the breakers with a tape measure tomorrow and see what I can find.
