G'Day all.

Out with the hardtop 110 and in with the TD5 CSW.....(1999)

Its currently in standard 11 seater format, 2-3-6 configuration.

My Plan is to get the second row replaced with high backed seats of some kind and source a couple forward facing seats for the back. I have 4 kids and the low backed, bench option scares me!!

My question is, other then XS and Puma (£££££££) options. Has anyone on here done anything a bit different. i.e. would a Front set fit on the second row? Is there another car's seats that I could look at etc etc?

Ideally I will keep a lookout and find some decent priced XS options, but at the moment these seem to be in very high demand and cost a bomb!!

+1 on sams trim. I have used her several times (errrr for seats!) and its always been a great service from her. She is a great laugh too :)

not sure if she would be able to sort your load area seat woes but for high back seats for the 2nd row im sure she could sort you out.
 
I've these in mine. Off getting retrimed at the moment while I make up the new center console to go between them

Your lucky then, I have spoken on the phone, sent at least 3 emails and sent a couple of messages via there contact page, still #### all response.
 
If you're getting rid of the rear benches, I reckon you're better with rear-facing seats back there rather than forward-facing. There's not much space to squeeze between two forward-facing seats to get in and out, but with rear-facing you can just jump straight in, plus they're safer in an accident. Only downside is that the rearmost passengers have to ride backwards.

rears again with full armrests and 6" lower than normal defender seats so passengers can see through the window rather than through the alpine lights :)

bit of arch modding required but fit is very good... almost made for the job :)

i am currently trying to value my high back 2nd row seats, with the fronts, all frames, runners etc.

I am taking mine out and fittign seats from a vw passat. the fronts are much more bucket like and the high back, split foldign rears will be far better for my two girls and the dog.

However now seeing the rear seats posted by DaveM-sport, cant help but think im making a mistake and should have gone down the front seats in the back route.

I am sure its just a case of having frames made.
 
bloody hell good buy :0

pic i posted earlier shows the rear mod to get it to fit low... some folks have fitted at normal height with no seat box mod but i wanted passengers to be able to see out the window not the alpine light...

the fronts are easy just drill n fit rivnuts and bolt in

rears ... trim..

make up a filler plate n seal n rivet in... i used galv steel so it'll not rust
