I have got a disco 1 1996 v8 es model and I am wondering would the disco 2 seat switches fit the same ? And work

No !. Although they may look the same and fit in the 300,s switch apatures the connectors are different.

If you are careful you can strip your old units and clean the contacts, I say careful because there are alot of springs and balls in there.
