Seat belt length

Hi,

Does anyone else have any problems with the length of the seat belts on their 2nd row seats? I have a 110 double cab and haven't noticed this before as we have just started to use it after rebuilding it. That the rear belts just aren't long enough to go around anyone at all. I haven't had these belts out of the vehicle and they are extending fully.

Any help much appreciated.

they are a little short, but TBH, not stupidly, they are about the same length as the ones in a pug 406, I know this cos I have the same struggle to get the seatbelt clip round my daughters car seat.

They are a bit tight getting them on to a child seat compared to the wife's golf but should fit round an adult

Weird. I can't get mine around a child never mind the seat or even an adult. I had a girl who was quite slim try it and the belt was about 2 to 3" to short still. Perhaps I need to get a set will fit.

chuck all the seats out that way you dont have to have seat belts..:boink:

I replaced my front drivers seat belt as it had worn and the replacement is definitely shorter, it might not be the original one that is fitted in the back

out of interest on this, last night I took one of me kids seats out and tried it round my 17st frame, it fit with an inch or so spare.

Definitely mine that are way to short then. I wonder why that is? It's an Ex MOD but not sure that would have much to do with it. Breakers yard then to see what I can get I guess.
