I've seen a lot of seals for sale between side panels and roof , however can you buy seals between sides and hub , mine have rotted away and I'm left with a gap , if I can get one would it be possible to just take out bolts slide in the rubber seal and feed bolts back through , I've had sides off once already and it wasn't fun .

Yes you can buy them but fitting involves removing the hard top and feeding / sliding the seal into a groove on the bottom of the tub sides. I suppose you could just get some flat rubber seal and push it under or glue it under but might as well do the job properly.

I have to do the same very soon. There are a few threads with people using mastic. Gutter repair jollop seems to be favoured as it cleans off with spirit.

I would like to keep the visible trim however between roof and sides. The one I have is perished and looks a mess.

As for the sides to tub, I've seen lots of self adhesive foam strips in various sizes but I'm sure these break down. Or they will if they are made from the same material as my door top seals.

I'm sure the stuff they use on modern car panels that goes hard and is paintable would be an option but I wouldn't like to try and break the seal in the future.
