Hello,

Not sure if a fault or I'm doing something wrong, but my L322 (2002) is stuck on the "Menu" screen and I can't get it back to the radio screen to listen to the radio.

Navigation works, on board computer works, just can't get back on radio.

I've tried pressing all combination of buttons.

Am I doing something wrong?

Thanks in advance.

SO when I start the car, the Land Rover logo appears and then it goes to the 'menu' screen (the screen that shows the options for On Board Computer, On Road navigation, Off Road navigation, television and set. I can go into any of those options but I cannot get out of the menu section (to the radio). If I press the menu button, it just goes back to the main menu with the options above.

I have tried pressing buttons, holding them down, etc, but cannot get the radio screen to come on.

I seem to be 'locked' on the menu screen and can only navigate to On Board Computer, On Road navigation, Off Road navigation, Television and Set.

Thanks.

Look at the physical buttons on the unit. One says mode. Use it, not the twisty button.

I think I've had flat battery already since it started happening, so not sure if it could be that, but will try, thank you.

Personally have a discovery 3 and know on that if the battery isn’t up to scratch will cause all sorts of issues

with all these modern landies if the battery isn’t any good will create issues, indeed get a multimeter snd ensure with the engine off the battery is at least 12.6 Vdc

fingers crossed after you’ve given the battery a good charge or replaced it may just resolve ur issues

indeed Plse let us know how u get on

So, battery off and back on again and I'm still in the same situation. Weird as when I picked it up last week the radio worked fine, not sure what I did to get it into this situation!

I'm replacing it with an Android head end shortly but would have liked to use the radio in the meantime...

That's what I'm trying to do, would you be kind enough to explain how?
I will but before I do, I would like to suggest you do a search for, and download, an owner's manual.
The round dial on the bottom left is an on/off button for stereo. It is operated by pressing it.
You may have pressed every button but you didn't press the dials ;)

OK, so I have tried the left rotary button, pressing as you suggested and I have read the manual (which confirms your suggestion) but as per my original post, it doesn't seem to work, does anyone have any ideas about where to look next.

Hmmm in that case I can only offer two things. First check your fuses. There are two for the ICE 8 and 49 I think, but double check. Two wait for someone more techie minded to drop in, because if it isn't the fuse , it's possibly something bigger.

Whilst we wait for someone more techy, just for the fun of it, do you have a cassette tape?
