Scrapping a RRC Vogue SE

Hi,

Didn't know where to post this...

I have used a rotten RRC 200tdi for an engine swap into my Defender. Conversion is now complete and the RR is stripped of everything that is/was salvagable.

I've got to the point, where I need it scrapping, however I have a couple of issues that you guys might be able to help me with...

I need the car to be gone this Weekend (Parents are moaning at me...whoops), but I've never scrapped a vehicle in my life.

Do I phone Scrap Metal Merchants up or do I need to speak to Car Dismantlers (even through there is literally nothing left to dismantle from the car - apart from possibly two axles, door(s) etc)?

Once I have worked which sort of guys I need to speak to, my next issue arises...I don't have a trailer to get it there...Does anyone on here know of anyone where I could borrow/rent a trailer from/anyone with a free Saturday willing to help me tow it away? Anyone want to buy it infact? :s I know it's a big ask, but thought it might be worth a shot...

Where im from (essex) there are loads advertiseing in local papers that will collect and pay cash for any scrap car no matter whats left of it as long as you have got the log book

same round here, usually turn up with a hiab or similar and just lift and go.

sometimes, they'll even do it to cars that aren't being scrapped !

Dude im after the gearstick surround / center console if youve got it including the gators aswell if you wanna sell them pm me ill be over on sat / sun to collect them.

ring Metallon in Derby 01332 380 822 they will come and collect it for you and are at least a legit company (and generally quite helpful)

Scrapped a stripped saxo and fiesta last week £100 each and they collected within 2 hours of me phoning them, got 2 more going next week

All sorted now. All has gone. Got paid as well.

Now I just have a garage full of parts that I need rid of!... Although none of which are what Gonzo is after

Do you still have the rear prop shaft from the RRC?

If yes, will pick up next sunday (04/07).
