Wanted Scrap defender crossmember

hello I need a scrap but intact defender x members in both non td5 and td5 flavours. (must be gen)
I used to make crossmembers but I threw all the jigs away a few years ago. On visiting the laser cutter for the first time since I was met by a dozen blanks with my name on and the need to purchase to be friends again. This was enough money to need to make them up hence this request!

thanks but no, need genuine to reverse engineer, Im going to be doing them differently

Where are you in the uk? I’m up in Durham and have a scrap chassis, your welcome to the crossmember if it will help you out? I don’t really have the time/space to do it at the minute, as I’m rebuilding mine on a galv chassis. It’s a pre TD5 crossmember.

No problem. If I get finished and your still after one. I will sort this one and chuck it in a box for postage, if that helps?

Don’t be silly. If when the time comes, and your still stuck, you cover the postage and you can have it. It would only have been sent to the scrap man, so no use to me.

If you let me know if you get sorted before I get finished, then I will scrap it. If you want any other part of the chassis, let me know. It’s not the best condition, but I’m certain it’s useable for re-eng.

Think it is a rear crossmember he wants. That is what he used to make.

Laser cutters have accepted It was their mistake cutting them so I’ve escaped the misery
