Hi folks, just bought out my pal's share of a 1984 2.25Petrol Defender 90. We've had the beast just over a year and have had it off road once where we (me) bust the front diff going through a river hitting boulders under the water line. It's lay for 6 months parked up and my personal circumstances changed where I needed a barge for local journeys so can suffer the bad fuel economy. Im also member of the scottish kit car club so petrol is def in my veins.

apparently shared ownership is quite common for 2.25 engined 90 and 110s

one steers while the other one pushes

Hi, thanks for the welcome. Need to be thick skinned on the forums Im on :)
I'm based in Larkhall, South Lanarkshire. I recon I'm getting about 14mpg which I can just about live with for the purpose I've got it for.
I would like to repaint it and change the colour though.
