Even ventured to Tesco's in Ashby in it today Tis bloody hot though with all the heat coming through the bulkhead and transmission tunnel
Yeah I've been tempted a couple of times, most things on an early series are 100 quid plus. Hinges, heater, wiper motors, wings and dash. I keep an eye on Ebay fairly regularlyHave you seen the price of them wiper motors?? You should buy the scrap ones & rebuild
I'm in lockdown til Friday then I'm back at work until TuesdayHow long will you leave them to harden before fitting the tyres?
What rubber did you go for? And what size?

Four of these, more aggressive than I really wanted but BF Goodrich all terrains were about 200 quid more and I couldn't justify that. They'll probably perish before they get worn out.
In some ways I would have liked to use the original wheels but I'd be limited on tyre size. Again branded tyres in 750 size were coming out at 600 quid plus inner tubes so resto mod is the way to go at the mo I'm afraid. As you'll find out, if you're not careful the costs can run awayNice!
They look better than I thought so that's good. And very nice they look too
