Disco 1 Saving an old disco

The first quote ive had of a modified 4x4 specialists is 2k:oops:
Looks like im going to have to do a fair bit of ringing around,i crashed my defender last year so that doesnt help (although thats only £400 fully comp this yearo_O)

Heres a pic painted, the floor will just screwed in as i want it all removable.

Was really relying on FJ for the insurance but they said they've changed the risk profile for the disco and no longer offer insurance on it, no luck anywhere else so far.

I probably should have checked this before spending any money:oops:

Who have you tried?

Peter Best in Chelmsford are quite good.

Lancaster and Adrian Flux are supposed to be good for modified LRs but I have no experience with them. Sure Term sponsor a modified land rover of the year competition so should be worth a look and mustn't forget Keith Michaels who were recommended to me for a Range Rover project I was going to buy.

It would be an idea to look in the members vehicles forum and see who's running a tray back and ask them who they insure with?
