easy way to check - measure length of broken one in mm's and thats the ref no of the Halfrauds one - ie a 1075B is 1075mm long (the "B" stands for the x-section type).
the broken one was proper broken with no legible numbers on it....to be fair the bloke behind the counter in weymouth jubilee business park halfords was very knowledgeable and helpful and coulnt have done any more to sort things out for me
