Sat Nav / Aerial problems

Hi

I have a 55 plate HSE with the becker NAV system. Now and again it stops working. If I wiggle the aerial / base about a bit it works again. Has anybody else had this problem? Is the base faulty?

Don't worry mate, ya go a Hippo, ya'll not be going far enough from home to need sat nav.

My 04 HSE had the same problem that led to a loss of sat nav operation. Trouble is I cant work out if its the actual sat receiver (in front of the arial) or the module that connects to the receiver through the roof of the vehicle. I have a sneeking suspision that it is that connection.
I gave up after trying a few times to get the sat nav to work.

I prefer the full screen versions so I can see side streets to get around queues so I got a Garmin NUVi 200
