Hi all. I´m thinking of doing the Sarn Helen trail in south wales.:) The thing is it´s very long and I´m not sure how much of it one is allowed to drive.:confused: Has anyone here experience in driving this trail? Is it completely banned or are there still a few meters open?

Hi, I haven't driven much of it but I do know a lot of the area along it. Definitely a lot of it is still open despite the efforts of Ramblers. I'll have a look at what is going on locally and will come back to you. Jim
 
No probs :) I do a lot of walking in the Beacons (definitely not a Rambler) and I'm on your side. Will see what I can find from the whingeing in walking circles.
 
I know that some of it has a seasonal TRO on it so again please do your research thoroughly before driving it. :)

hello mate we went up to sarn helens the start of the month but it was closed and as far as the paper work said on the fences its closed untill further notice we looked at several different entrances to it but these posters were at each entrance so id check with the local row officer first cheers mike
