Old school landy lights are not so costly. Would suit and simple wiring.

, being a total electrical incompetent, if I'm re-newing the lights would I be as well redoing the wiring loom with new wires, I haven't got a clue, but the father-in-law is a sparky, so he could soon give me a lift next time he comes up##Sorry just re-read that Chunky, and you mean normal old school Landy lights, not Sanky specific, hadn't thought of that, but I am on the red wine

Yeah i meant the original landy lights. If you reloom is and a good wire wool and repaint will last years. Once tubs back on i would imagine hard to rewire tidily.
Sure your dad would do it fine.

Ye, I've had a search around on t'internet and can't find any Sankey lights, I've decided I might as well do a proper job, the chassis is absolutely solid, so I'm going to rub it all down, re-paint, and probably waxoyl
, so I'll re-do the loom seeing as it will be as old as the trailer and like you say should be pretty easy with no tub on, I'll have a look at some normal Landy lights, cheers fella

Its not just the weight though, its a fair old lump size wise, does that make a difference?? I have absolutely no experience at all of couriers

I used SJ Bargh for it, got to them through pallet force and then went direct to avoid paying commission
